Description:
Rexius is seeking a skilled irrigation technician for a year-round position based out of our Coburg, OR, location. A successful candidate will provide maintenance service on existing systems and installation for major repairs, remodels, and upgrades on commercial and residential properties. They should be willing and able to work in Landscape Maintenance during the slower time of year.
Daily tasks:
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees
- Complete daily work orders as assigned
- Maintain professional attitude and tidy workspace
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve irrigation problems for commercial and residential clients
- During the slow time of the year (Mid-December – Early February), the new hire could be working with the regular Landscape Maintenance team to work on current projects in the department.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years professional experience in landscape irrigation
- Valid Oregon driver’s license
- Can work well independently and as a team member
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Has effective communication skills with customers and employees
Preferred Qualifications:
- Backflow Test Certification (or willing to get certified within 120 days)
- Experience with electrical tracking equipment
- Horticultural knowledge
